Erik Hovanec joined LeisureLink as CEO in March 2006 and brings an extensive background and proven track record in online advertising and ecommerce, financial services and the management of young, high-growth businesses. Erik has served as General Manager for the Green Dot Financial Network, a major player in the multi-billion dollar prepaid financial services industry, and spent five and a half years with Overture, a leader in online search advertising (acquired by Yahoo! in late 2003). At Overture, Erik served in several key management roles, overseeing both product management and advertiser business development. Erik began his career in management consulting working as a Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and an Associate Consultant for Marakon Associates. Erik earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Princeton University.


Tom joined LeisureLink in March 2012, and brings a history of managing complex operations for diverse, early-stage, high-growth businesses. Prior to LeisureLink, Tom headed global operations for American Discovery, one of the world’s leading providers of legal outsourcing services.  Before American Discovery, Tom was co-founder and COO of Done Right!, a venture capital-backed marketing services firm sold to Tree.com in July, 2009. Prior to Done Right!, he was head of corporate development for Overture Services, leading the company's efforts in structuring and negotiating numerous acquisitions and strategic partnerships, culminating in the company's sale to Yahoo! in 2003. Prior to Overture, Tom was an investment banker in Mexico City, Mexico and Bogota, Colombia for N.M. Rothschild & Sons, specializing in M&A and government privatizations. Before investment banking, he practiced law on Wall Street and in Los Angeles for prominent international law firms, specializing in corporate transactions. Tom earned a B.A. from the University of Southern California, a J.D. from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles.

David joined LeisureLink in February 2006, bringing deep experience in eCommerce and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies with both startups and large-scale operations. Before LeisureLink, David directed the eCommerce and EDI divisions of Molina Healthcare, a billion-dollar healthcare company that serves over a million members in eight states. Earlier in his career, David co-founded UnDiscovered Technologies, Inc., a software development company focused on creating productivity solutions for healthcare providers. At LeisureLink, David is responsible technology infrastructure, development, planning and execution for all of the company’s products.

Alex joined LeisureLink in December 2011, and brings a 25-year career of public and private-equity company financial leadership for rapidly growing companies, including raising capital, investor relations, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and building business infrastructure in the internet/new media, advertising/entertainment and consumer products sectors.  Prior to LeisureLink, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Internet Brands, a multinational online media company, where he led a successful IPO, implemented public company infrastructure and managed the initial SOX 404 implementation.  As controller and executive sponsor for consolidation for Danone Waters of California, Groupe Danone’s North American water business, he supported the implementation of joint venture agreements with Coca-Cola and Suntory International.  He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Quisic Corporation, a VC-backed developer of interactive corporate training solutions for Fortune 100 companies; Creative Planet, a VC-backed developer of online markets and project management services for the entertainment industry; and J. Walter Thompson Specialized Communications, an international advertising agency.  He began his finance career as an audit executive with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Alex maintains an active role as the Partner Council Chair for Hardesty LLC, a national professional services firm for Chief Financial Officers.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and has a California CPA license (inactive).  He has an AB in Philosophy from Williams College and a Masters in Divinity in Ecumenics from Princeton Theological Seminary.

 

As a 20-year veteran of both advertising agency and corporate marketing environments, Adam joined LeisureLink in April of 2012.   He spent the first 15 years of his career at global advertising, online and direct response agency powerhouses in NY and LA, such as Grey, Ogilvy, Dentsu and others, handling client strategy, campaign management and new business development for Fortune 100 clients.  A specialist in online, direct response and customer acquisition, his marketing experience includes consumer and enterprise technology, subscription services, capacity models, travel & tourism, entertainment, retail and more, for such clients as Hilton, The Peninsula Group, Beverly Hills Tourism, Asiana Airlines, Vegas casinos and many others. Adam was also SVP Marketing for Bank of America, driving historic customer growth in the prime loan, banking and insurance segments via online, call center and branch channels.

A noted author and business school lecturer, Adam has appeared in the WSJ, Forbes, and the LA Times, as well as on the Fox Business News Channel, PRI’s “Marketplace”, NPR and others, discussing marketing, media and financial crisis topics.    Adam earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Boston University on a United States Air Force scholarship.

 

 

Jeff Farr, RRP, manages the sales and installation of LeisureLink’s revenue management and distribution solutions for vacation lodging providers, as well as all business development activities, distribution programs, partner management and consulting services. Prior to joining LeisureLink, Jeff was the executive in charge of Business Development, Strategic Accounts and Underwriting at CSA Travel Protection, where he led key account growth and new product initiatives. Jeff earned a BA in Economics from Villanova University and an MA in Economics from San Diego State University.

Kelly joined LeisureLink in March 2011 bringing with him more than 20 years of customer service and operations management experience. Most recently, Kelly was Vice President of Operations at Spot Runner Inc., where he oversaw support for their media pricing and inventory platform. Prior to that, Kelly was Vice President of Customer Service for Sony’s Movielink.com movie download product (now Blockbuster OnDemand), where he was in charge of support strategy and call center operations. At LeisureLink, Kelly is responsible for distribution operations, client services and the consumer call center.
