
Erik Hovanec – President & Chief Executive Officer
Erik Hovanec joined LeisureLink as President and CEO in March 2006, bringing an extensive background and proven track-record in online advertising and ecommerce, financial services, and management of young, high-growth businesses. Erik has served as General Manager for the Green Dot Financial Network, a major player in the multi-billion dollar prepaid financial services industry, and spent five and a half years with Overture, a leader in online search advertising (acquired by Yahoo! in late 2003). Erik served in several key management roles at the company, overseeing product management and corporate development. Erik began his career in management consulting as a Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and as Associate Consultant for Marakon Associates. Erik received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Princeton University.
Steve Reich – Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
With more than 15 years of sales and operations experience in both public and private technology companies, Steve oversees all sales and marketing activities at LeisureLink. He has held senior executive positions with Digital Insight and Treasury Services Corporation. As Senior Vice President, Business Development, Steve was responsible for positioning Digital Insight as the leading Internet banking ASP solution while driving sales from $4 million to $55 million in under three years. While at Treasury Services, he built the sales organization and increased sales from $4 million to $35 million in a five-year period. Steve received an MBA Claremont Business School and a BS in finance from Arizona State University.
Walt Williams – Vice President of Engineering
Walt brings over 20 years of experience in technology, systems development, information systems design and management to his technology leadership role at LesiureLink. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Products and Technology for RazorGator, a leading player in the secondary event ticketing marketplace. Previously Walt was Chief Technology Officer at Fandango, overseeing the initiative to build a new technology platform and website. Walt has also served as Chief Information Officer for Teleflora, a leading floral and gift website, and Associated Travel/Navigant International, a major corporate travel agency now wholly owned by Carlson Wagonlit. Walt manages technology infrastructure, development, planning and execution for LeisureLink’s technology platforms and software development.
John Hoang – Vice President of Finance
John joined LeisureLink in September 2007, bringing a valuable combination of both financial and online travel experience. Most recently, he was the President and founder of DC New Media Limited, operating travel websites that generated more than $100 million in gross bookings for its travel partners. Prior to that, he managed the accounting team as Sr. Director of Finance of Overture Services, Inc., a business unit of Yahoo!, Inc., which grew in annual revenues from less than $30,000 to nearly $1 billion in his five years with the company. John started his professional career as a CPA with Arthur Anderson LLP. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
Michael O’Connell - Vice President of Distribution
Michael joined LeisureLink in January 2008 as its Vice President of Distribution, overseeing the company’s relationships with its GDS and OTA partners, as well as guiding its growing network of web distribution partners. He came to LeisureLink from Pegasus Solutions, where he was responsible for managing Pegasus’ business partners around the world and expanding its presence in emerging markets. Michael previously served as cofounder and managing partner of NSI Ventures LLC, where he specialized in advising small technology firms on creating and implementing global distribution strategies. Prior to this, he held international management positions with AMR Corporation, Sprint, and Concert, a joint venture of AT&T and British Telecom. Earlier in his career, Michael held a variety of roles in the governmental lobbying field, focusing on both the U.S. federal and international regulatory practice areas for client businesses around the world. A native of New York City, Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in International Relations.

Dave Berkus – Chairman of the Board
Dave is a well-known icon and pioneer in hospitality technology. A member of the coveted Hospitality Financial and Technology Professional Association's "Hall of Fame", Dave is credited with pioneering such industry breakthroughs as single image inventory, yield management, open systems deployment and the "one button" night audit. His continuing relationships with chain CIO's and CEO's has helped LeisureLink open doors and more quickly advance its efforts in inventory and technology acquisition. Named "Director of the Year" by the Forum for Corporate Directors, Dave is also well-known for his insights and expertise in adding value to corporate boards on which he serves. Dave is the co-founding angel investor at LeisureLink, guiding the organizational growth as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Ted Alexander – Board Member
Ted Alexander is a founding Associate of Mission Ventures and a Managing Partner of Mission Ventures III. Prior to joining Mission Ventures, Ted worked closely with the founders of Sandpiper Networks, in Business Development and Market Analysis. Sandpiper was subsequently acquired by Digital Island. Similarly, he assisted GE Information Services with the launch of an electronic data interchange service for the Internet.
Jim Armstrong – Board Member
A successful and experienced early stage venture investor across a variety of enterprise and consumer facing technology companies, Jim has established himself as a leading investor and company builder in Southern California. Since joining Clearstone early in its formation, Jim has applied his strong management skills, communication skills, market knowledge and industry contacts to help Clearstone companies deliver a strong record of venture performance. Jim's work at Clearstone is focused on information technology investments, with particular interest in application software, information management and security, and Internet-enabled businesses. In each of 2004, 2005 and 2006, Jim was recognized as one of the top 100 Venture Capitalists in the United States by Forbes Magazine in its annual Midas List.
